Established in 2004, the Starmark brand was created with an initial focus on dog training products, as used by the real Starmark Academy, located outside Austin, Texas. Soon, the brand hit a critical growth stage with the introduction of a full range of interactive behavioral products.
We transported the brand to the next level by repositioning Starmark as the premier manufacturer of professional pet training tools, supplies and dog behavior solutions. Our redesign included the creation of a cohesive architecture to strengthen brand recognition at shelf as well as clearly communicate the unique attributes of each product. Starmark continues to further build its franchise as a consumer-facing brand in pet mass and specialty stores through innovative products and shelf presence.

A black architecture was chosen to unify the brand block at shelf and showcase the brightly colored products.
We segmented the Starmark product offerings into four distinct categories based on consumer need-state. Each category featured a unique silhouette icon and color system for increased consumer shopability.
Adding to the authenticity of the brand, dogs attending Starmark Academy were photographed and highlighted on their favorite Starmark product packaging.
